I normally would do some research and write something profound, but this year I feel moved to go in a different direction. This is the holiday season, the season of thankfulness and giving. This year, I want to tell each and every one of you how thankful I am to have you in my life. Every single day I wake up and think how blessed I am. I am thankful for a school that is all about community, a school that gives to the community, and a community that gives in return. I am thankful for a student body, who in the midst of a volatile political climate chose to celebrate the International Day of Peace instead. I am thankful for a student body that is protective of its students, regardless of their differences. I am thankful for a staff, who serves its students tirelessly and with love. I am thankful for our parents who are so supportive and trusting. I am thankful for an amazing support staff, who do this job out of love for kids. There is no other place I would rather be than Putnam City High School. Thank you for all you have given me. I am so grateful. Always know you are loved. Happy holidays!
